ONE-to-ONE MOCK INTERVIEW TRAINING

• I provide school-specific interview training

• Please note that initial consultations are not offered for interview training

STEP ONE: CONTACT ME AT LEAST 10 DAYS BEFORE YOUR INTERVIEW

• Please complete my intake form

• Let me know when you plan to interview and when you want to practice with me

• I will confirm if I have the capacity to help you

•  One mock interview training session lasts 60 minutes

• I ask customized questions for the first 30 minutes

• We spend the last 30 minutes reviewing your answers

• I can help you brainstorm more effective ways to answer the questions I asked

• We can also discuss other ways that interviewers might ask you to discuss the same information (different questions that solicit the same core contents that I wanted you to discuss during our 30-minute mock interview)

• Finally, if time permits, we can discuss other types of questions that might be of concern to you

STEP TWO: ARRANGE PAYMENT

• Clients in Japan pay via bank transfer 

• Clients outside Japan pay via PayPal 

• Once you share your email address that is associated with your PayPal account, I will send you an invoice

• Once your invoice clears, we can arrange our first session 

STEP THREE: SCHEDULE OUR FIRST SESSION TO OCCUR AT LEAST 5 DAYS BEFORE YOUR INTERVIEW

• Once payment clears, we can schedule your session(s)

• Please check my availability calendar here

• Then, email me three options - what are your preferred days and times?

• I will do my best to accommodate

• Finally, please follow my cancellation policy

• If necessary, requests to reschedule appointments should be made at least 24 hours in advance of the originally scheduled appointment time

• Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours prior to an appointment will be granted at Vince’s discretion

STEP FOUR: SEND ME YOUR RESUME and/or MBA APPLICATION

• Once our session is scheduled, please attach and send me the same information that your interviewers will have

• That could include your  resume/CV and other application PDF forms, depending on the school for which we are preparing

• If you are not sure what to send, please check the school's website

• If you are still not sure, please ask me AFTER PAYMENT HAS CLEARED

• Please note: after your interview, I will destroy all hard and soft copies to maintain client confidentiality

• Some interviews are blind, meaning that interviews only see your resume or CV

• Many top US schools use blind interviews: Berkeley, Columbia, Chicago, Duke, Kellogg, Stanford, Tuck, UCLA, etc.

• Other interviewers, like adcom members from HBS, MIT, and NYU, read your application before they interview you

• Finally, alumni from schools like LBS and INSEAD often read your essays before the interview

• After reading your resume/CV or application, I will prepare a custom list of questions to fit your case.

• I ask questions that test your ability to discuss issues that might be of concern to your interviewer(s)

• I also assess your communication skills

• I cannot predict what questions your interviewers will ask at your real interview

• Still, practicing with an expert who understands what interviewers are looking for can help boost your confidence

STEP FIVE: PRACTICE BEFORE and AFTER EACH SESSION

Please practice at least three hours before and after each of our mock interview sessions

Interviewing is a learned skill

You will improve with practice

I encourage you to use my "mirror method" to practice interviews at home
