I worked with Vince throughout my entire application process, starting from brainstorming, writing essays, tailoring my application package, and interview practice.

A year ago, when I decided to apply for business school, I was a mile late in the game. Many applicants had already spent time with consultants for a year or had MBA holders advise them daily; whereas, I was still learning about the programs. I wanted somebody who would be my coach with adequate knowledge in the game, my professional partner with full commitment, and my torch, guiding me throughout the dark woods of graduate school applications.

Over the time I worked with Vince, he has never failed to surprise me. He is motivated, honest, and above all, a true educator―a believer in the power of education. I thank Vince for motivating me to handle eight schools at the same time; without Vince, I would have given up before reaching the mountain top. Above all, I recommend Vince’s capacity to blend the analytical mindset and the artistic flavor into the entire application package. I, myself, being an enthusiast of storytelling and creative writing, I wanted somebody who could help me weave my passion into my stories without rendering it a fairy tale. If you are passionate about delivering your life stories and mission to the admissions clearly and effectively, Vince will help you hit home runs every time at-bat.

Future challengers, good luck, hopefully with Vince! – Stanford GSB MBA / Wharton MBA Class of 2022

Vince helped me strengthen my essays by making them more concise and clear. Not only giving advice that other people might offer, Vince kindly provided creative ideas to make my essays stand out. His creativity helped me through interview mock sessions. He was dedicated to asking questions that are not on my prepared question lists to accurately find out my weaknesses regarding interviews, which helped me realize where I should prepare more. His friendly and positive atmosphere helped me go through the demanding and high-stakes process of applying to MBA programs. I am glad that I was able to gain admission to my dream school, thanks to Vince. – HBS MBA Class of 2022

I worked with Vince to prepare for my Wharton interview and team-based discussion (TBD), and his assistance was invaluable.

Firstly, Vince is an incredibly kind individual, and you can tell that if he is working with you, it is because he believes in you and is interested in your story. A lot of the interview process is about believing in yourself and your ability to contribute something unique to your class, and Vince was able to pinpoint my “selling points” as a candidate and give me the confidence to sell myself.

Secondly, Vince knows the interview process inside out. Vince helped guide me through what would happen on the day. This may sound like something small but in a high-pressure situation having worked through my TBD pitch and potential interview questions knowing I had these down, so to say, really helped calm my nerves and allowed me to present my best self at the interview.

Thirdly, as someone who went to university and went through the job interview process in the UK and South Africa, Vince gave me the confidence to approach the interview with a more “American style.” Thanks to his expert coaching, I could boldly express myself in the one-on-one conversation and, ultimately, gain admission.

In my opinion, it is the small things that make the difference between a good TBD interview and a great one. Vince’s input helped me to excel. I know many potential candidates are concerned about the mountings costs of the application itself, flying to the interview location. Then the cost of the MBA itself and you may be weighing whether a consultation with Vince is worth it. Rest assured, it is! We all want to get into our first choice program, and every applicant is exceptional - I think Vince’s insight can make the difference and ensure you shine on the all-important interview day.

I worked with Vince for my entire application process. I decided to work with him not only because he has excellent results over the years but also because he values quality above all else. If you have specific schools that you are eager to get into, Vince is the right person to contact. He knows what to do and how to do it.

Although I started working with Vince in early November, I spent almost 50 hours working with him. In addition to the regular two hours session every Sunday, he helped me a lot in the last minutes in the process, including interview training. He tried hard to know me very well and taught me how to show my strength in the limited space in the applications.

The application process was a black box, so I became nervous countless times, but every time after talked with Vince, I got confidence and motivation to move forward. He had been a great coach throughout the process. Having a reliable coach close to me was very important to me.

Thanks to Vince, I got admitted to my dream school. I believe the best thing I did in the process was that I decided to work with him. Thank you again, and I am glad to be an alumni member of VincePrep! – Columbia MBA Class of 2022

Do you know any counselors who can give advice on design school applications including the portfolio? No, right? Me neither, until I met with Vince.

Needless to say, he is a friendly, brilliant advisor and counselor on your essay, resume, and interviews as everybody says. However, what I would like to emphasize is his passion for giving a helping hand to applicants. He never compromises with understanding your thoughts and helping you. He is always encouraging but also down-to-earth and trustworthy. Also, for design school applicants, he has experience in the design world and can give advice on your portfolio but also introduce appropriate people using his broad network if needed.

Vince will definitely help you in every single aspect of the tough application process. Good luck.

Working with Vince has proven to be the best decision I have made during the application process. He showed a genuine interest in my goals, encouraged me to think deeply and was always easy to approach. Above all, he is a thorough professional - he always honored his commitments, was prompt in his response and managed my expectations. Vince is also a "Connector" - I greatly benefited from his network of tutors, writers and other resources which wouldn't have been available to me otherwise.

In the end, we managed to put together crisp, insightful essays - well within the deadline - which wouldn't have been possible without Vince's support. INSEAD was the only school I applied to. Thanks to Vince, I will be moving to Singapore come January.

I highly encourage you to work with Vince, rest assured your application packet will be the best it can be.

You encouraged me to be genuine, and helped me find the right, true stories that captured who I am. You helped me present them in the right way, not on the techniques that make me fit into the MBA mold. An example is your advice to “imagine showing this essay to your future son or daughter”.

Because of this holistic approach, your service has the potential to be not only an effective admissions advisory, but also a unique journey of self discovery and empowering dreams.

It was a pleasure working with Vince. His obvious knowledge in anticipating questions, and knowing how to answer them was exceptionally helpful.

Allowing the client to use their own words in the proper context was appreciated in the knowledge gained.

- Wharton MBA '15

First, you limit the number of your clients so that you can maintain the high quality of your services while many other MBA consultants accept clients almost beyond their capacity.

Second, you are really great “catalyst.” Each question you asked me made me think and thus deepened my stories.

Thanks to you, I was able to come up with excellent ideas that I could never come up with alone.

- Kellogg MBA '15, also admitted to Berkeley / Haas

First, I like your personalized approach. You do not treat your client application at a mass mode. You give then the required attention and you get to know well their story so as to give the best tips possible.

Second, you give plain feedback. It was very important for me to hear clearly that I need to improve my presentation skills. That's something that not only I tried to work on during the application process but that undoubtedly I will try to improve during my MBA. - Admitted: MIT Sloan MBA ‘15

Vince was always honest is his feedback. Through the three interview sessions, I felt he gave the most specific but still honest feedback among other counselors. I think the reason he is capable of being so, is because he has a successful track record and numerous experience of working with diligent and unique applicants. He can probably compare with others from previous years, so that he can give precise advice. He does not hesitate to share those findings with the applicant. Applicants that seek those specific and honest feedback should definitely seek support from Vince. - Admitted: HBS MBA ’15

Vince is good at understanding what the writer really wants to say, and making the logic/expression clear after asking some questions. Likewise, whenever I got stuck, Vince asked to-the-point questions which always encouraged me to generate new ideas.

Due to his friendly and supportive character I simply enjoyed communication with him. I want to maintain a good relationship with him even after the application process. - Admitted: Berkeley Haas MBA ‘15

In addition to his punctual attitude, professional editing skill, and customer-oriented behavior, I strongly think the following factors differentiate his service from others.

1. Empathy

I love his natural sense of empathizing with his/her clients. Because of this ability, I really think he can share clients’’ views and experiences and do not offer an off-the-shelf solutions. As a result, he is superior at bringing out and articulate unique stories of each client. Unique stories in essays do not persuade admissions, but they do evoke empathy. And throughout my application processes, empathy is the biggest key!

2. Flexibility

Application processes are very uncertain and sometimes you have to modify your application tactics or take a different turn in your essay. Personally, I think these behaviors are very natural to clients, because we are not only in the process of applying business schools but also in the process of redefining our life. Thus, there should be some ambivalence. However, based on my experiences, some essay counselors really dislike this modification. For Vince’s case, because he is a really experiences counselors, he understands clients’ mental situation and do not push his ego. His flexible behavior has really contributed not only to my successful application process for Stanford GSB but also the decisions for my life.

3. Leadership

This is a little bit tactical but very important point. In the application processes, business schools have kept asking me my leadership experiences. So leadership is a very key factor. Since leadership is any form of power influencing others to follow your lead, there are so many ways to influence others; influencing others by setting appropriate agendas in meetings, by collaboration, and by top-down approaches. Because Vince has deep understanding in this field, he can give you a very effective advice to articulate your leadership stories in essays. - Admitted: Stanford GSB Sloan Masters

I truly believe that you are the most reliable graduate admission expert. I hope that many other applicants would be guided by you to realize desired career objectives for their own happiness.

What I like most about working with Vince is his adequate advice backed by plenty of experience in helping applicants and expert knowledge of admission process.

Most importantly, his advice helped me materialize what could be my ideal career objectives. Although, I had my future career goal in my mind in the beginning, it was rather vague and was not convincing enough to be considered as strong applicant.

His advice helped me understand what could be my possible future career opportunities taking my background, personality, and school's traits into consideration.

Consequently, I understand what my realistic career objectives are and became clear about what I truly want to become after graduation. - Admitted: LBS MiF, HEC MBA

First, I really liked the material, video, blog posts etc... There were very useful in demystifying the application process. Your website was so useful that I decided to contact you for one on one sessions.

I really appreciated your reactivity, and your availability. I was great to work with someone who was easy to reach. In addition, the costs of your services were competitive and the return on investment excellent.

Regarding our work together, I feel you exactly provided me with what I was looking for. You gave me confidence, and help me manage my stress. Surprisingly none of the question we worked on showed up in my interviews, but thanks to you I was ready and fully prepared to answer coherently and briefly. More than the questions you asked me during the mock interviews the method you taught me was priceless.

Your insight on the new Wharton group discussion was extremely helpful. I was the most well prepared of the applicant according to a feedback I received not so long ago from one of the two interviewers. – HBS MBA ‘15
